Starry night: grade 3

Grade 3 is studying the life of Vincent Van Gogh and specifically focusing on his "Starry Night" painting. We are each doing our own version of the painting using oil pastel, watercolor and acrylic paint. Ask your child to tell you a little bit about Vincent! (Where was he born? How did he decided to paint Starry Night? What kind of tree is featured in the painting?)

Grade 3 weavings

Grade 3 created beautiful "paste paper" using a combination of wallpaper paste and acrylic paint. They added texture to the papers and then wove them together with fabric, yarn, ribbon and raffia! Ms. Perdana's class weaving a will be hung up in the central admin office this week.
